The completely redesigned lincoln mkz hybrid is a premium midsize hybrid-sedan showcasing the reinvention of the lincoln brand. It provides all the styling and features expected in the midsize luxury segment without any sacrifices for achieving excellent fuel economy. To link the gas engine and electric motor together, a continuously variable transmission, also known as a cvt, is used to optimally match the power and gearing. Standard features include leather heated power driver and passenger seats, 18"" alloy wheels, sync entertainment/communication system, satellite radio and dual-zone electronic climate control. Standard safety features include eight airbags with knee airbags for both the driver and passenger, traction and stability control, anti-lock brakes, led headlights and tail lights, securilock ignition disable system, and the mykey restricted driving system. Optional features include a retractable panoramic roof, thx ii audio system, lane keeping system and first-in-class inflatable outboard rear seatbelts.
